If I had to choose something that I would need to iron out before marriage is to put my ego/pride aside. I've asked God to work with me and teach me to be the type of Christian that turns the other cheek.....ahem, man, God has definitely been testing me!! 🤣🤦🏾♀️ Because I've asked God to help me grow, He's been faithful in helping and showing me HOW to grow. And I am seeing changes in myself. I'm becoming a little more vulnerable 😉. Although I want to be the best spouse for my husband, I really want to be a better person for Heaven. I want to be Christ-like and, just like in the Lion King...I want to see God's character reflected in me when I look in the mirror. Point is, I'm STILL growing. I'm no where near perfect but I'm striving for perfection DAILY. So, am I ready for marriage? Lol, honestly, I can't say that I'm 💯% ready....but I CAN say that when it's time I WILL BE READY because I'm preparing NOW. Marriage is a process of growing with your spouse BUT there are lots of things that we should ALREADY work out while we're single. This is what singleness is for....preparing and becoming the best YOU. If you're not willing to grow then marriage might not be for you 🤷🏾♀️.
