21. Will you try writing software, like Scrivener or those programs that won’t let you stop writing?
I've tried Scrivener and embarrassingly couldn't make it work for me, there were just too many features. I don't necessarily like the programs that make it impossible for you to leave the tab because it creates unnecessary anxiety that makes it harder to write. I do sometimes lust for those distraction-free electronic writing devices like Freewrite, but they're stupidly expensive.
23. Would you like to go on a writing retreat?
As long as they weren't asking me what I was working on and I would be left alone for the majority of the time, sure.
Answered six HERE and nine HERE.

1. Dumpster girl - jack stauber
"Paint the, paint the, paint the bruises onto our knees / purple, purple, purple, and green, you delicate thing"
2. Lazy eye - silversun pickups
"That's why I said I relate / I said we really need to fight to relate"
3. The reeling - passion pit
"And I believe in gentle harmony, well how I loathe all this obscenity / is this the way my life has got to be? have I a single opportunity?"
4. The pugilist - Keaton Henson
Gun to my head I couldn't pick a best line for him from this song. You've gotta listen to it all the way through, invite it into your room and just live with it and all its sorrow for a few minutes.
5. Dreams - Fleetwood Mac
"But listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness like a heartbeat, drives you mad / In the stillness of remembering what you had"
6. Chase - batta
"So all I do is chase you / and I will chase you"
7. Vanilla baby - billie marten
"I am only as good as you want me to be / I don't know what I'm doing, it's easy to see"
8. You are invited - dismemberment plan
"You are invited by anyone to do anything /you are invited for all time"

1. Song of the year?
The problem with me is that I listen to music for writing, so if we're going by Spotify, my top song of the year was Breaks My Back by Meg Myers, which I had on repeat while I wrote a fic. But I think the actual song of the year is probably Ya'aburnee and The Lighthouse by Halsey.
2. Album of the year?
Tie between Carly Rae Jepsen's The Loneliest Time and Halsey's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power.
19. What’re you excited about for next year?
My first reaction was: nothing. But @ladyculebras reminded me of all the new horror movies coming out, so those. Also, I am going to try and do more things, I have a lot of vacation time saved up, so we'll see!
20. What’s something you learned this year?
I learned a lot about grief and how to handle it, or how I react to it. This year was a year of loss for me, but I think it was helpful because I've lost people, I've lost pets, I've lost friendships, but a lot of the time it's been because people have simply disappeared from my life. I've never had to fully experience a death like I did with Loki, which seems silly saying it like this, but Loki was a constant and never waning presence so it was something I had to confront directly. I also learned a lot about how I grieve and how I need to process it, which seems to be head on and direct and focus on actively making my own grieving rituals.
On a lighter note: I've learned a lot about kittens and cats and how to train cats and figure out how to learn the personality of new cats. I can tell you all the cat products I've researched and the things I've read about cats.

10. Will you keep a record of all the fics you write and/or post this year?
i tend to just use the ao3 stats page!! but maybe i should :)
11. Would you like to try any new fanfic genres or tropes this year?
i am engaging mysteries thanks to my coco endeavors (i promise an update soon), so more of that is def in the works 👀
12. Will you change anything about the way you edit or rewrite this year?
hmmm i think not! i like my system, i just need to write more!
13. Aside from fanfic, are there any other fan works you’d like to try creating? Fanart, or fanvids, gifsets, or podfic?
would loveeee to get into fanart but i need to take a drawing class first! that’s my summer plan :)
14. Have you ever lost large chunks of your work in the past, due to not backing up your work? Will you change your methods this year?
yes LMFAO it was devastating. i like best software sometimes, tho editing is kind of annoying… i did a lot of work on gdrives a few years back but i think i’ll stick to word (for now)
15. Do you foresee any personal or professional obstacles this year, that would keep you from creating fanworks?
ummm i am a contract worker so applying to jobs def eats into my time :( im trying to be proactive tho so fingers crossed this isn’t an issue!!
thank u!!!
