I was thinking that Marshall was apart of Gumball's regrets because maybe they still have things unsaid and their relationship didn't go as far as he wanted.. Something along those lines but we all know Pb and Marceline have a good relationship so it must translate into the gender bent relationship

yeah I defs agree with you! I might be overthinking a bit, but yknow how the next thing mentioned was PG’s fears and how his tombstone says”he died alone” like idk that might be bc he feels like he pushed the only person away who really genuinely had feelings for him/he had feeling for. I’m so worried about PG.

I really hope you’re right bc really hate how the show portrays their relationship as soo hateful when in the comics they’re so chill and nice with each other, so I’m gonna accept your version of “their cool with each other there’s just unspoken things between them” as canon bc otherwise I couldn’t bear it I guess.
