First thoughts on the Marshals Season 2 teaser...

30 seconds was absolutely NOT enough. 😭
The first thing that stood out to me was the scale. Season 1 slowly built the tension, but this teaser immediately feels bigger. Helicopters, armed men, Kayce surrounded... it already feels like Season 2 is going to be more intense.
One thing I really loved: Andrea.
Yes, Miles is clearly in the helicopter too (which made me so happy because I love that he's still right there with the team), but I don't think it's a coincidence that they specifically showed Andrea's face. They could've just shown the helicopter arriving, yet they chose to focus on her for a moment.
After everything Season 1 built between Kayce and Andrea, that felt intentional to me. Their partnership became one of my favorite dynamics on the show, and I have a feeling she's going to play a huge role in helping bring Tate home. Whether that's emotionally, strategically, or literally helping rescue him, I just have this feeling she's going to be key.
Speaking of Tate... I'm still not convinced the men in the teaser are directly working for Tom Weaver. They could be connected to him, absolutely, but something about that confrontation makes me think there's another layer to the story. They don't feel like random henchmen. They seem to know exactly who Kayce is, which makes me wonder if this is an old enemy, another faction, or people connected to Weaver without actually taking orders from him.
And can we talk about Kayce? He already looks exhausted, angry, and completely locked in. Luke Grimes somehow conveys all of that in just a few seconds. It really feels like we're picking up immediately after the finale.
I also found it interesting that "Belle and Cal are nowhere to be seen". We already know from the cast interviews that they survive the shooting, so their absence isn't about making us wonder if they're alive. Logan Marshall-Green also teased that they don't come out of it "unscathed," so I think the teaser is deliberately avoiding giving us any clues about *how* they're affected. Whether it's physical injuries, emotional fallout, or something else entirely, they're clearly saving that reveal for later—and honestly, I like that they're keeping at least one major Season 1 cliffhanger close to the chest.
Overall, I think this was a great first look because it doesn't answer the big questions. It confirms Andrea is still with the Marshals (which, let's be honest, most of us expected🤗), gives us a glimpse of the team back in action, keeps Belle and Cal's fate under wraps, and leaves just enough mystery to keep us theorizing.
Now season 2 seriously needs to get here because 30 seconds was criminally short!!
