Mother’s day, was it?
Thinking of it, and its meaning to all mothers -- a day for their children to show appreciation-- Mithos couldn’t help himself; though he didn’t possess much funds to purchase a gift for Martel, his sister who was much like a mother to him growing up, he wished to give her something.
Anything was fine.
To put it simply, he just wanted her to know he was thinking of her. That he loved and appreciated her for all she had done for him. So he had gathered an assortment of flowers, and came to her doorstep, giving the door a soft knock.
“Martel?” He called from the other side, “Are you there?”
