Dear person I had a crush on,

I feel like it would be unfair to put extra emphasis on the past-tense, but you'll figure it out, I hope. I do need to say one thing: more than anything else in the world, I just want you to be safe and happy and I hate that I can’t do much to make that happen for you. You are one of the best friends I’ve ever had and that’s the most important thing.. You make me smile and you make me want to be a better person and I just love you. x

Dear Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaarthickeeeeeeeey,

I love you. Unlike Jack, I can actually say this to your face without getting turkey’d.

You’ll always be the Martha to my John, and you’re so warm and fuzzy that it’s no wonder you get cold winters where you are - they need all the snow to moderate your hotness. Also warmth. ;)

I love your wicked sense of humour (rather, you laugh at Jack and I being stupid morons and you join in so I mean I love our sense of humour, but you know what I mean.). Call me biased, but I see all the good things in Martha in you - you’re so capable and so mature (especially next to us two giggling children). You seem unbreakable in the face of adversity, but you’re still so warm and genuine and compassionate. 

I love how fast we’ve become friends. I love that you’re the one who’s online at the times I am (haha purely selfish, I’m sorry). 

And I am utterly, absolutely glad that I’ve met you.
