Martin sat on the grass looking up at the sky. “I know how difficult it is to lose everything.”
“I can’t help it. I’m drawn to power. I try not to be, but I think I’m addicted.”

Martin huffed and stood away from Morri. They did meet in the gym after all, but she was training so hard and that made him feel inadequate. She was so strong, and he was… not. Not for the first time, he wondered why she was attracted to him, but he was scared to ask.

Martin grinned at her. He enjoyed their weekly coffee dates. But he wasn’t sure they were dates. She did seem interested him, but he couldn’t read her properly. A blush blossomed across his skin. He hoped she didn’t see it.
