@martinssonconstruction replied to your post: Seriously, Tom and a cocker spaniel puppy? This is...
Taylor: *puts a Tom diss song on her new album*. Tom: Look, I’ve got a new Cocker Spaniel puppy. Who wins that one, hm?
Right? LOL!
RP Thread - The Best Intentions
I don’t update this blog as much as I should. It sits inactive and that’s not how I ever wanted my writing blog to go. I write daily, but never post about it here. If anyone is interested, I’ve been rp-ing again with a brilliant and generous writing partner. If you’re at all interested in reading original characters driving a story with a shared narrative, please join us. We’d love to read any reactions that you might have.
The Best Intentions
An original character role-play between @martinssonconstruction and @jolinelindberg
This is the link for the story from the very beginning in chronological order. Follow one or both of us to keep current. My partner is brilliant and the magic that comes from that side astounds me! So well-imagined, specific and nuanced.

56: Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?
First I wanted to be an actress (before the reality of my mediocre talent got to me), and then for a brief time I wanted to be an architect.
I ended up being none of those... but I’ve had a fascination for architecture ever since, and a string of community theatre productions to compensate for my other frustrated profession.
Thanks for the asks! 💖
Question game! Ask me things!
Ansgar led her out to the flagstone walkway, lined with gravel and tiny scrubby bushes. He turned to her, his arms folded, waiting as he did for her to speak, for her to show her hand.
There was something patient about the way he stood, Tali noticed, watching her as the late evening breeze blew around them both, whipping her hair across her eyes momentarily, blocking out the sight of him, but she could feel him there, with her. Really there.
@martinssonconstruction replied to your photoset “COMING SOON! Christmas Balls, a seasonal and very fluffy Hiddles fic...”
So, funny story. When we got our puppy, my son asked if we were going to have him neutered. I said, probably yes. My older one asked how Hank would react if he suddenly had no balls. My younger boy said he'd come home from the vet, see them gone, and then immediately get on the computer and google, "where have my balls gone?" :)
Bwahahaha. Perfect response!
5.
5. character you were most surprised to end up writing
Bah! Boo!! You know the answer to this one. Ansgar Martinsson. Without a doubt, the single most bewitching character that I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting words in his mouth, gestures to his person, characteristics for him to portray. He’s a bag full of cats, an enigma wrapped in a puzzle topped with a mystery. I’m... over the moon that you allowed me to try again (Kristiane just didn’t fit in his world and that’s okay). Humbled and ecstatic. Thrilled and petrified all at the same time. Intimidated and happy.
As I was thinking about this today, how to answer, I realized that you’ve been behind nearly (if not, allllllll) every challenge I’ve tackled since I took up writing again in 2012. I’m grateful for each and every one. You pulled Kristiane out of me and helped shape The Course of True Love Never Did Run Smooth, you supported me through so, so, so much of Tom and Abby, you allowed me to play with your Ansgar and Lova, you created a companion (a mix of the series and the book version that was so compelling) Jonathan Pine that I could somehow run with, and you’ve inspired Joline... so THANK YOU!
