Idk how to feel about Kaya. I mean her father is neglectful so the only thing that she wants is to be loved by her father but also the way she is treating reader makes me mad. Like it’s not her fault because she was born. But I also have sympathy for that too because her mom was poisoning her mind. Instead of being jealous of reader she should be mad at her father for treating her this way. I can see that she was definitely neglected by her both parents, that’s why she wants her father’s attention so much. I think that the real villain is the father not Kaya. If the father didn’t treat Kaya and reader differently I think that they could’ve been good friends I guess. I can see Kaya more as a hurt person with trauma from her childhood than a villain. I see both Kaya and reader as a victims.

yes ahhh thank you for pointing this out :) Kaya is definitely not a villain in this fic and neither is reader. I would describe Kaya to be more of an anti-hero or a 'pawn' in this fic. She is not at all a bad person, just very sad and neglect.
