ok so i know it might be strange to say this and im not really good at putting things into words but i’ve read your writing with tokyo revengers a bunch of times especially your book run and empire of the sun and i just want to say it really helps when i’m in a bad headspace so i just wanted to say thank you for taking time to write them

What artist or songs would inspire you to write your story?

a whole bunch honestly. my one-shot are usually titled with the songs I was inspired by and I have whole playlists for the longer chaptered fics too. But I also have certain songs that inspire entire chaptered fics or like,,, where the inspired has come from. For example:

chihiro — chihiro by billie eilish, can I call you tonight by dayglow, thursday's child has far to go by txt, supercut by lorde, ditto by new jeans, f*ck my life by seventeen

buy me the moon — the fruits by paris paloma, mrs. potato head & soap by melanie martinez, lacy by olivia rodrigo and love dive by ive

dead girl's beach — consume by chase atlantic, can't catch me now by olivia rodrigo, vampire by olivia rodrigo

ghost in the machine — no time to die by billie eilish, sajini by arijit singh, moonstruck by enhypen

But anyways yeah. I listen to a lot of songs while writing and they tend to be my inspiration :)
