About Maruta and Horikoshi

Alright, I know I’ll probably get hate for this, but I want to speak my opinion on the whole matter.

Horikoshi made a mistake, intentional or not. But Ujiko is a character who has time and time again experimented on humans. He’s bad, not a trace of good in him. But people in China and Korea have a right to be angry about this, considering the history of what Maruta means. And western people? Well, I just think they’re hopping on a bandwagon just because.

If you are threatening Horikoshi and encouraging others to do so, you are the problem. You are not helping anything. He apologized and promised to change the name, what more do you want from the man? Not everyone would listen to fans and do that. This is the best outcome of it right now. Yelling and spreading more hate isn’t helping anything. It’s making things worse. Being mad for the sake of being mad isn’t going to make things better.
