I love that Thor opens on Jane? So Much? That as much as this is Thor’s discovering earth fish out of water story it is also Janes story of the greatest scientific discovery of her career.

Also, Natalie Portman deserves better

If Agent Carter aired in 2020 instead of 2015 a lot more people would have issues with it's performative wokeness. I remember some people mentioned at the time it aired how there were no POC characters and only one female character (Peggy) but that was very much the minority.

You cannot say Angie, Dottie, Ana, or Wilkes count. They are credited as reoccurring characters and none of them even reoccur in both season 1 and season 2 (except Dottie, but as a villain). They were treated very much like disposable supporting background characters. Peggy had almost no meaningful lasting relationships with anyone who wasn't a white male.

The main cast is officially credited as: Peggy, Jarvis, Sousa, and Jack (and Dooley in season 1). That's one white woman and 3-4 white men. Agent Carter promoted itself quite heavily as feminist and progressive for a show that might be the most unprogressive piece of Marvel media.

also i watched the karen episode in daredevil s3 and waaaaooooowwwww karen as an ex-addict living in a one horse town with a dead mother who shot her loser boyfriend and was responsible for her brothers death,. how ARE you girl?????????!!!!!!!
