i think i am very few in saying this but while aa iron fist should be the standard white iron fist could have worked if white men ever stopped to like listen : instead of having him "feel like outsider cause hes rich" have be an outsider for really real. the other characters dont fuck with him cause there tired of white ppl stealing their arts have it be a conflict that keeps him and the main love interest seperate as she has her own reservation for helping him since she runs a dojo and has sure to dealt with weeaboos and fetishers. have the issuses of aa americans front and center with danny having to learn that their lives are more than just kung fu and the training they can provide him. have him start off angry that his color blind mind set is clearly false. hell turn it to a plot point . maybe his powers go screwie when he refuses to belive in white privelege since his powera do come from asian legends.hr has to get over him self to get his powers back for the greater good. dont dress him like a smelly hipster ready to take a black neighborhood over. idk im not aa im black american so i could be wrong and its best to listen to what AAs want but im more just pointing out how they could have not made the character and the show racist af out right. ps. maybe also maybe not pick an actor that sounds like hes never had a poc as a friend abd tells asian girls how much he loves asians.just maybe?
