Hey! wanted to show you a picture frame we made for the new apartment. It took an embarrassing amount of time to get in the books and fake flowers but it turned out so nice so I'm pretty proud of it. You watch a lot of shows so i thought its something you'd like to do too to display your playbooks!

dude this is awesome!!! i'll definitely look into doing something like this bc there are some shows that i liked so much that i'm like "i want to display the playbill so i remember" (i used to have an angels in america playbill up on my fridge for this reason)

Hi! Can I ask for your advice about getting in-person general rush Broadway tickets? I wanted to see either Hadestown or A Sherlock Carol but they're at different theatres so do I have to line up early at just one of the box offices or is there a place where I can buy tickets for all the Broadway shows in case they run out of the tickets for one of the shows I want to watch?

i haven't rushed a show in a few years, but my experience of it was that you can only rush one show at a time. i'm not sure what the covid rushing protocol is. there's also tkts, a booth in times square that sells discounted tickets, but you never know what they're going to have available, and you usually have to stand in line for that too

i've finessed it in the past where i got into a standby line for one show and it sold out before i got to the front, so i went to a different standby line in a different theatre and managed to get tickets for that show

thank you for asking!! i honestly forgot i was even doing that kdskjngf we can blame it on long covid brain fog or we can call it what it really is, adhd stoner brain. maybe a combo of the two.

anyway, i actually do miss streaming, so i'm going to think about setting up a weekly thing again or even just doing it spontaneously. i've been playing stardew valley lately, but i've also had some sims build ideas floating around in my head

I actually have been following you since 2013. I know this because I was graduating highschool and looked through some tags to see who else was going to college in nyc and had any of the same interests (in your case doctor who but at that point you weren't really a fandom blog)

i was trying really hard to not be a fandom blog at that point. to mixed success i think lol

Thank you again for your advice! I was able to get a $30 ticket orchestra ticket to A Sherlock Carol! It helps that it's new years day and raining so I was literally the only one there😂. Can't wait to try for Hadestown

yaaaaaas! i hope it's a good show!!! and omg i hope you can see hadestown too! i haven't seen it on broadway, but i saw it at nytw in 2016 and it was phenomenal
