Dear Marvel,

If Howard the Duck can have a child with Darcy Lewis and get an entire storyline dedicated to it, why not give fans something even more compelling? Let Star-Lord and Gamora have a child and explore their journey as parents. Better yet, let them get married! That would be a much more meaningful and exciting storyline than one that raises eyebrows with themes like bestiality. Let’s give the fans the epic stories they deserve!

P.S., Let’s not forget how Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hints at the possibility of Peter and Gamora finding their way back to each other. While the 2014 variant doesn’t share the same memories, the movie shows that she’s not entirely closed off to the idea of a connection with Peter. By the end of Vol. 3, Gamora acknowledges the bond they had (and still can) even if it’s not the same as before.

This opens the door for their relationship to grow organically in the future. Love stories in the MCU often thrive on character development and second chances—why not let Star-Lord and Gamora build a new chapter together? It’d be a compelling evolution for both of them!”

Daredevil: Born again (2025)

I’ve always been in love with Netflix’s Daredevil series, so when Daredevil: Born Again was announced, I was really happy — but also curious (and a little nervous). Marvel shows lately have been a total gamble — some are amazing, while others… not so much. So I had no idea what to expect. I followed almost every piece of news and set photos that came out, my excitement kept growing, and now that the first two episodes are finally here, I watched them right away. I wrote down some of my thoughts, and let me tell you: there was excitement, there was stress, and there were definitely tears.

Eu sempre fui apaixonada pela série do Demolidor da Netflix, então quando Daredevil: Born again foi anunciado, fiquei realmente feliz — mas também curiosa (e um pouco nervosa). As séries da Marvel ultimamente têm sido um verdadeiro jogo de sorte — algumas são incríveis, enquanto outras… Nem tanto. Então eu não sabia o que esperar. Acompanhei quase todas as notícias e fotos dos bastidores que saíram, minha empolgação só aumentava, e agora que chegaram os dois primeiros episódios, eu assisti assim que pude. Anotei alguns dos meus pensamentos, e vou te contar: teve empolgação, teve estresse e com certeza teve lágrimas.

The series already starts delivering tension and drama — just the way I like it. Seeing Matt, Karen, and Foggy together again was so comforting — I actually cried watching them reunite. But that happiness didn’t last long, because danger arrived quickly. The plot revolves around the return of Bullseye, who brings chaos and tragedy right from the start.

However, his trial felt a bit rushed and left me a little disappointed. It was over too quickly and didn’t carry the weight I expected. Considering his history and the severity of his crimes, they could have explored the legal side of the story more, which is something I’ve always loved about Daredevil.

The opening sequence pleasantly surprised me, managing to bring something interesting, much like the iconic one from Netflix. Daredevil’s suit looks great as well, but I want to see more details before making a final judgment.

Meanwhile, Fisk is rising rapidly in politics, becoming the mayor of New York, but it all happened so fast that it didn’t feel as grand as it should have. I hope the series develops this storyline in a more impactful way.

On the bright side, Matt, Karen, and Foggy still have incredible chemistry. I love these three, and I always want more scenes of them together. I’d love to see more of the trio working in their new office, getting a better look at the cases they’ve handled. It’s an aspect of the series that adds so much depth to their dynamic, and I hope we get to see more of it moving forward.

The camera movement and angles in these episodes really caught my attention. Visually, it’s interesting and adds a dynamic feel that suits the character. Additionally, the way the series develops Daredevil’s senses is one of its greatest strengths. The way the camera moves makes us feel what he feels, intensifying the experience and putting us in his shoes.

Overall, these first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again got me excited for what’s to come. While some storylines feel a bit rushed, the series still delivers the emotional depth, tension, and strong character dynamics that make Daredevil such a compelling story. I’m eager to see how the rest of the season unfolds. The return of Daredevil is something I’ve been looking forward to, and despite its flaws, it’s great to have this universe back. Additionally, I was really impressed with how White Tiger was introduced. I hope the character’s potential is fully realized because he’s seriously cool. Now, it’s just a matter of hoping the upcoming episodes bring the depth and impact the series deserves!

A série já começa entregando tensão e drama — do jeitinho que eu gosto. Ver o Matt, Karen e foggy juntos de novo foi tão reconfortante — eu realmente chorei vendo eles se reunirem. Mas essa felicidade não durou muito, porque o perigo chegou rápido. A trama gira em torno do retorno do Mercenário, que traz caos e tragédia logo de início.

No entanto, o julgamento dele me pareceu um pouco apressado e me deixou um pouco decepcionada. Foi rápido de mais e não trouxe o peso que eu esperava. Considerando o histórico dele e a gravidade de seus crimes eles poderiam ter explorado mais o lado jurídico da história, algo que sempre amei no demolidor.

A abertura me surpreendeu positivamente, conseguindo trazer algo interessante, muito parecido com a icônica da Netflix. O traje do Demolidor também parece ótimo, mas quero ver mais detalhes antes de fazer um julgamento final.

Enquanto isso, Fisk está subindo rapidamente na política, tornando-se prefeito de Nova york, mas tudo aconteceu tão rápido que não pareceu tão grandioso quanto deveria. Espero que a série desenvolva essa trama de forma mais impactante.

Por outro lado, Matt Karen e Foggy continuam tendo uma química incrível. Eu amo os três e sempre quero mais cenas deles juntos. Adoraria ver mais do trio trabalhando no novo escritório, entendendo melhor os casos que eles lidaram. É um aspecto da série que adiciona tanta profundidade à dinâmica deles, espero que possamos ver mais disso daqui pra frente.

A movimentação da câmera e os ângulos nesses episódios realmente chamaram minha atenção. Visualmente é interessante e adiciona uma sensação dinâmica que combina com o personagem. Além disso, a forma como a série desenvolve os sentidos do Demolidor é um ponto muito positivo. O jeito que a câmera se move faz com que a gente sinta o que ele sente, intensificando a experiência e nos colocando no lugar dele.

No geral, esses primeiros dois episódios de Demolidor: Renascido me deixaram animada para o que está por vir. Embora algumas tramas pareçam um pouco apressadas, a série ainda entrega a profundidade emocional, tensão e a forte dinâmica entre os personagens que tornaram Demolidor uma história tão envolvente. Estou ansiosa para ver como o resto da temporada vai se desenrolar. O retorno do Demolidor é algo que eu estava esperando há muito tempo e, apesar de suas falhas, é ótimo ter esse universo de volta. Além disso, fiquei realmente impressionada com a forma como o Tigre branco foi introduzido. Espero que o potencial do personagem seja totalmente aproveitado, porque ele é muito maneiro.

Agora, é só torcer para que os episódios futuros tragam a profundidade e o impacto que a série merece!

FILM REVIEW: FANTASTIC FOUR (2025) ⚠️ SPOILER WARNING (INCLUDING POST-CREDIT SCENES) ⚠️

Just came out of the cinema and honestly? Not bad at all. It was fun, visually gorgeous, and definitely entertaining. The aesthetics of this universe?? Stunning. Super stylised in a way that really worked, kind of dreamy, retro-futuristic and crisp. I was into it.

The tone overall was lighter than expected. Sure, there were a few dramatic moments here and there, but nothing too heavy. It had that fairytale energy, like everything felt just slightly too good to be true. Not a complaint exactly, but I did catch myself waiting for something to really hit.

That said, MAJOR SPOILER WARNING (but no details): the first post-credit scene? Now that’s the sprinkle of drama I needed. I actually gasped.

Also, can we talk about the Silver Surfer?? Absolute star of the show for me. So charismatic, powerful, and just plain badass. Definitely my favourite. Every time she was on screen, the visual effect was just so good and lowkey satisfying somehow. Obsessed.

That said, I did feel kinda sad for Johnny (this is my pov, maybe others didn't feel the same way). He was clearly getting sidelined most of the film, people talked over him, brushed him off... even though (spoilers!!!) he was the one who translated Silver Surfer’s language, he was the reason she turned on Galactus, and still... nothing. Sue, his sister, is the only one who eventually acknowledges him, and even that felt late. Made me lowkey ache for him. But maybe it's just me, idk.

Also, again, idk if it’s just me, but I kept looking at the babies they used?? It was hilarious seeing these big emotional speeches or tense scenes while there’s a baby on someone’s hip jiggling around or picking at their face. Totally unbothered. It added such an odd and funny contrast, I kinda loved it.

The humour overall was pretty good, got the room laughing a few times, and most of the jokes landed with at least a smile. I enjoyed the humour for sure.

And finally, I have to mention H.E.R.B.I.E., the little robot. So cute and funny, definitely coming in as a close second favourite. I loved the chaotic energy, how innocent and sweet he was, just adored him.

Overall? A solid Marvel entry. And coming from someone whose expectations have slowly deflated over time, this one felt like a promising little bounce back.

RATING: 7.5/10 Going straight into my “would definitely rewatch, probably several times” kind of list, especially for Silver Surfer and Herbie, tbh.
