So as many of you may have noticed, I’ve been relatively absent throughout 2016, and late 2015. About, 70 of you have left because of this. (Thanks a lot, guys.)
And try as I might to keep this blog alive, I’ve just got way too little time anymore to do so - a reality I sort of failed to recognize entering Year 10 last year until I was so swamped with work I just had no time for tumblr. But Year 10 isn’t that bad! Yeah here’s the thing -- I live in Singapore, which honestly has one of the most grueling education systems in the world, so I actually ended up doing not so well last year due to my lack of time management and blah blah I’m going off track.
Anyway - this year I enter the first year of my IB diploma, which is like A-levels of IGSCE, except just, different? IB is relatively stressful and hard and there are at least two deadlines to meet every single week. And I’m only doing my first year of it.
This means, for 2016 - 2017, up until the point of my graduation, I will be incredibly inactive, due to the fact that I’ll probably be studying like... all the time. I have term breaks this year and I’ll probably be on more then, but like I said, fucking assignments are going to plague me left and right as well as assessments.
So yeah. Basically, what I’m saying is, that I’m going on something along the lines of a 2 year hiatus, up until December 2017. I’m sorry guys. It has been a great journey since my early days of a 13 year old up until now but I guess I just underestimated what IB was about so yeah.

I’m honestly at a loss of words. I saw The Avengers three years ago and have been waiting for AOU since then. I couldn’t even imagine how it was gonna play out, but I was absolutely sure it was gonna be great.
But it wasn’t. It was so much more than that. This movie literally made me feel everything. I was happy, I was sad, I was annoyed, excited, surprised. It was almost everything I never thought I wanted. It is definitely a lot larger than the first movie, larger and scarier.
First of all, Ultron. Fucking Ultron. Absolutely amazing. Probably my favorite villain in the MCU. I had big expectations and, boy, did they exceed them. So much more than a robot, so human-like, inside and out. Flawless.
Vision, holy shit, Vision... my love. Such a beautiful thing.
Bruce - I honestly wanna hug him because he went through so much; he didn’t deserve it. He made a good decision in the end. He needs a big break.
Clint - I love him so much. He was one of the best parts, the team wouldn’t be the same without him and, honestly, I don’t understand how some people think he’s not valuable. He was so amazing.
Natasha - Natasha was flawless as usual, but there still wasn’t enough of her. I needed more of her. She did have a huge role and I loved it but still. Either way, I loved every second of her.
Pietro - I fucking guessed that one of the twins would die. Don’t even mention him to me, I’m so sad, I’M SO SAD. I loved him so much. Apparently, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s contract is not over so I have my hopes up.
Steve - Ah, Whedon’s Steve is back. He was so much colder and leader-like than in TWS, which I didn’t mind, I knew he was like that in The Avengers too, so it didn’t surprise me. I do prefer the Russos’ Steve tho. Still, I loved him in this, just like I loved everyone else.
Thor - YES!!! He got a much bigger role in this movie and I loved it!! It’s lovely to see him interact with the rest of the team and just his storyline was so cool.
Tony - I am so sad for Tony omg, he’s so traumatized from the Battle of New York that he managed to fuck up that bad. It was great seeing him go through the process of messing things up and trying to fix them, I don’t think he’ll ever be able to make up for that, but he deserves to try. And he did, with Vision, and it worked.
Wanda - Baaaabe!! Loved her. I really hope she gets her brother back. I loved her costume in the end and the fact that she could control all the Avengers with a snap of her fingers is the best thing.
Brucenat - literally what the fuck. I tried. I tried to ship it as hard as I could but I just kept seeing Clintasha, man. I’m super annoyed/pissed at Whedon for this. It was pointless and so out of character. Friendship - yes, YES!! But not romance. I’m sorry, I’m just too bitter about this. Clintasha happening was one of the things I looked forward to the most in this movie.
Okay, Clintasha - I NEEDED MORE OF THEM. They were the cutest and we should’ve gotten more scenes with them. Their relationship is like no other, truly. The understanding that they have, the connection, the chemistry. Nothing can replace that for me.
I’ll always be mad about Clintasha but the thing with Clint’s farm and his family was so so cute, I’m so proud of him!!!!

Overall, it was definitely not what I’d imagined. At first I couldn’t really decide whether I loved it or not but I did. The Brucenat thing just really really annoyed me, but I loved the movie. Definitely worth the wait.
What I’m worried about now is how the fuck am I gonna watch Steve and Tony fight each other next year.
