Two years ago (on the ninth), I brought home this ridiculously sassy hedgehog. At the time, she was a tiny hedgehog who loved to explore. I named her Marvel for her curious nature and her habit at marvelling at the things around her. When I brought her home, she was rather sweet, but shortly she began quilling and became the resident sasspot. She is still, to this day, the sassiest, grouchiest bully of the bunch. Marvel hates being around other hedgehogs. She hates being touched. She hates being bathed. She hates treats. She hates baths. Basically, she hates pretty much everything. Marvel loves to explore outside. She could run for hours outdoors. She is quite the explorer. She is fast. She has the WEIRDEST feet I’ve ever seen on a hedgehog—her nails grow straight out, instead of curling under (you can sort of see that in the last photo). It’s actually pretty creepy. Marvel is the one with the faces. She can make the silliest faces that resembles human expressions. She has a scar on the bridge of her nose from one of the times that she escaped her cage. It’s from coroplast rubbing her nose raw as she lifted it from its secure placement. She is my sassy girl. Again, she is the resident sasspot and I wouldn’t have it any other way. #marvelhedgie https://www.instagram.com/p/Btu7UPjlGcA/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=171wf1nil3kab
