--------------------------------------------------------------
- I'd imagine that you two would've either met through Midge (Maybe you two met at the Gaslight, or any other gig Midge was doing), or, you met through a random occurrence, such as on the subway, or bumping into each other as you're both hurrying to get somewhere. (But I like the Midge storyline better, so let's go with that.)
- When you two first met, it was NOT some sappy love at first sight trope bullshit. It was somewhat awkward and Midge had to do most of the introductions and talking.
- When you two finally got a little more comfortable around each other, you began to come around her office whenever you felt like it, and tended to hang around by her desk when she was working, making light conversation.
- Your first "date" wasn't actually a date...kind of. Dinah has a sneaky way about her, and was able to set you two up on a sort of blind date. Dinah told you to go there and meet her for dinner so you two could catch up, while she also told Susie to meet her for dinner at the same time to discuss the new client Dinah brought in. Safe to say, Dinah never showed for either of you. So, when you stumbled into the quaint little diner and looked around, the only familiar face was that of Susie's. Realization dawned on her face, and you both had half a mind to leave, but you were hungry, and you were already there, so you might as well. The "date" ended up going really well and the night was spent with filling the diner with laughs and flirty remarks.
- After that "first date," it was smooth sailing from there. Conversations became a breeze, and it had began to seem like you two had known each other for years with the way you'd get along.
- The first time you and Susie had ever hugged was at Jackie's funeral. She looked wrecked and plain miserable, you couldn't help yourself. You walked over to her and wrapped her in your arms. For a moment, you two stood in a comforting silence. It was a quiet but special moment. It was short lived however, as you both came to your senses and pulled back, quite abruptly.
- The first time you two kissed was honestly a little awkward, but sweet. You both got drunk as sailors the night that Sophie Lennon nailed her Gordon Ford interview. You were back in her office finishing off a bottle of whiskey, cracking jokes and telling stories. There was a pause in the conversation, and a moment where you were looking out her window. "Beautiful view, Suz." You had said. "I know, right?..." she replied. You turn your head and notice that she hadn't been looking out the window with you, but had been looking at you the whole time. Her lips twitch in a slight smirk, and her eyes held a type of adoration that you'd never seen before. Feeling somewhat bold, you shift closer to her. You brush some hair out of her face and lean in closer, she does the same. It was a clumsy but sweet kiss. Her lips were softer than you had imagined, and they moved perfectly with your own. It wasn't too steamy, but was far from a peck.
- Because of her natural standoffish behavior, Susie will hardly initiate physical affection, that includes hugs, kisses, and sometimes even holding hands. But secretly, she loves to do all of those things. She just wasn't raised in an environment where acts of love were common, so she doesn't always know how to act when hugged, and she certainly doesn't want to come off as soft by initiating it. But deep down, she adores it. So, it's typically you who has to initiate the hugs and kisses, etc. Every time you do, she'll always act stubborn, and pretend like it's such a inconvenience for her, but you know that it's all an act, and eventually you win her over.
- CUDDLING!! Now, I know I said she doesn't initiate hugs and kissing, however...I didn't say cuddling. Susie is a HUGE cuddler. The minute you lay down on the bed, she's on you. When you go two get in bed for the night, you can bet that she is wrapped around you like a koala on a branch, and she will not let you go. As for cuddling positions, she doesn't mind being the little spoon or big spoon, but her favorite position would have to be either her laying on your chest, or you laying on hers, no exceptions.
