🛫 -- Maddie loved Grace. Beyond clone solidarity, the redhead and the blonde really bonded deeply over so many aspects of their past lives. While Maddie tried to settle down and be less susceptible of losing control, Grace hadn’t renounced resorting to violence now and then. 

Maddie was trying to remember how being Anodyne felt, the benevolence, the kindness, healing others. Not everyone deserved to see that side of Madelyne, and she kept it rather hidden nowadays. 

“Let’s take the high road, babe,” she said softly, looping an arm over Grace’s waist. She pressed a kiss to her cheek. “He’s not worth that kind of attention.”

Peni didn’t want to believe if.  It may have taken some time for her to warm up to Yan, especially given how their sessions were mandated, but she eventually did warm up to her new counselor.  True, Peni hadn’t completely opened up to her, but she had opened enough to make it significant.  She even told Yan about her father... and that’s not just something she tells anyone.  So despite the evidence overwhelmingly facing the contrary, Peni wanted to believe that it was false.

Regardless, she had to know for herself, and the sounds of her abnormally heavy footsteps indicated that the matter weighed heavily on her mind, along with the sound of the door slamming shut.  “Tell me that it’s not true; that it wasn’t you I saw the other night.”

👄 -- Working for the Blonde Phantom detective agency, Emma never expected to be tossed through a portal into a world that was familiar but also at odds with what she knew. And seeing the fellow blonde didn’t help assuage her building panic. She could tell the other woman was a telepath like herself. She also looked... oddly like herself. “Are you me?” alright, this wasn’t the smartest thing she could say in the circumstances, but considering everything... it was understandable.

She’d been talking with Storm herself, but Shaw had waited until his fellow Council Member had departed before striding across the ever-present greenery that Krakoa, outside of a few places---such as his own foreboding Blackstone---was plagued with. He suspected that the Wind Rider might not fancy him chatting up any relation of hers, sister or otherwise.
