I had hoped to be finished with this today. It’ll be close, but I’m guessing It’ll need more coats of red paint than I can fit in. Sooooo close.

Despite the panic its coming along and getting ever closer. No matter how close you are, there always seems to be some details to complete. 3 days and counting.

Here’s a quick capture of my showing at the Marvel booth last night. Just got home from day 4 at SDCC to process any of this. Had a blast working on the cosplay and sharing it all. Now that its all over the question is - NOW WHAT?

A day late, but complete. Mostly happy with this. Wish it had real giant sized pez.

All of the hard work paid off. After a nervous technical difficulty with the right wing not opening all day, some quick repairs and a little luck, this happened. Thanks to those of you who’ve been following. There were a ton of great costumes and a ton of worthy cosplays. So surprised and so happy to be awarded this honor.

AND… heres a quick snippet of action of the wing. I can’t image the size of motor and  battery pack required to move (4) of these.  Excited to see this coming together finally.

A quick test fit of the body suit. Still a few details to add on. It so close, but those details will take me right up until the end
