Horse figure of the day: Schleich #42777 Marwari Foal

My therpist has been homesick and is having to be transferred to a different building, so as a goodbye present for them i made them a Marwari horse to help keep them company and safe as they continue working here in the states away from home. These horses are native to their home country so i felt it was appropriate, even gave them indian agate for eyes. I hope they like it when i see them for our last session.

Marwari horse

The Marwari, also known as the Malani, is a rare breed of horse from the Marwar region of Rajasthan, in north-west India. Marwari horses are found in all equine colours, including piebald and skewbald. They are a hardy riding horse and may exhibit a natural ambling gait. Used throughout history as a cavalry horse by the people of the Marwar region, the Marwari was noted for their loyalty and bravery in battle.
