Annoyingly, his friends had really put in the effort to disconnect Fagin from his typical drug supplied. His sobriety had always allowed him to realize that he was already deep in debt. Buying more probably wasn’t the smartest idea. At least, he still believed that right now. Instead of drugs Fagin had been turning to the next best thing, drink. Thankfully he was very good at holding his drink.

It was a typical late night and Fagin had been making eyes at a young woman for a little while. She was pretty, and seemed quite confident. A seat came free next to Fagin at the bar after they’d been flirting for about half an hour. Fagin smirked in her direction and winked, before gesturing a hand to the spare seat next to him. The smile rested on his face as he waited for her. He was fairly confident she’d walk over to join him.

“  hey  ...  ”  he  called  out  ,  jogging  after  the  femme  .  “  i  know  we  didn’t  end  things  on  a  good  note  ,  but  i’d  really  appreciate  it  if  you  stop  spreading  rumors  about  me  .  ”
