The carving reasoning anon has a point, narratively speaking. If they're gonna make richie carve the E as his platonic crush, it will be a growth moment for richie only. And since it seems like Eddie won't have a deep personal arc for himself regarding his sexuality, it would make more sense, as richie carves their initials on the bridge, he confirms or reinforce the fact that it was mutual romantic love, turning it into a growth moment for the both of them.

i do think its supposed to be a growth moment for richie only, because him carving that will be him finally admitting his feelings to himself/expressing them in a way thats positive (its no longer a ‘dirty little secret’ if he publicly carves it on a kissing bridge) and would thus conclude his arc

☕ BTS US interviews!

they're getting better!! i still cringe very often n feel bad for the boys when they receive those repetitive, pointless questions...... but it's much much better than it was in 2017!!

i find it really unprofessional when the interviewers don't do their research or put more emphasis on the fans than on the boys' music tho..

i know the fans alw want to know more about bts but all the questions asked last year about their favourite _____ (which were 90% us related) n none about their message or music or album felt a lil. weird? n you could tell it got tiring after a while, always answering the same question over n over again

one thing i really don't understand is why the interviews are mostly in english.. the ones that were in korean or at least had an interpreter present felt the most comfortable n professional n had the most depth (bc the interviewer could ask better questions n there was no language barrier). don't get me wrong - joon is a good interpreter n he's fluent in english so he's very articulate but it still differs from him speaking in korean

i suppose that's the thing that really baffles me the most? interviews with people from foreign countries (be it musicians, politicians, actors etc etc) are usually in the language the interviewee is fluent in to avoid discomfort or misunderstandings so i'm not sure why they decided to stick to english in so many of them
