He was live with a fan who commented that nico wouldn't be there for s17 and how they separeted the couple... and Jake went on with things like: well, we don't know that... what might happen... there's always the next season... I see 'ex boyfriend' and I'm like... uh... who knows... (he repeated "you know..." in such a way, smiling, and giving us hope. I'm surprised he even went there. But it seemed, for me, that he said that based on planning for s16 ending or table discussion for s17)
Did you hear about how Nico was only created as a filler character? He was written in as a vessel for Levi to come out and was supposed to stay on for long. Added to the fact that Alex Landi changed his instagram bio to "Dr. Nico Kim on Grey's Anatomy" to the Korean flag. I'm very worried that Alex won't be returning for season 17.
I’ll be honest - I’m not surprised. I wish I could say that I am, but I think everyone knew it was coming. Will definitely be interesting to see next season and if he returns at all.
Um... Jake did a livestream a few days ago and gave some clues to the return of Nico and Schmico in season 17. That is something from the actor so I prefer to hold on to that (and better writing)

Yeah instead of them going deeper and making them have a conversation. They said “nope fuck it, we’ll do the classic breakup where there’s no communication at all.” And tbh they do that with a lot of the couples on the show and it gets old and annoying.

I side with both.Yes Levi deserves an explanation and he has every right to stand up for himself.But Nico as he’s said isn’t Levi,so it’s not gonna be so easy for him to just be open.I don’t like how they make him seem bad because he isn’t an open person.There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m like that. But I think they both need to grow. Nico needs to learn how to handle his emotional damage in a more healthy way. And Levi maybe to just be less dependent on others.I don’t think it’s on one person
no it definitely isn’t and my biggest issue isn’t with Nico and the fact that he just kind of up and left, it’s with the lazy and bad writing and going against his earlier characterization just because it suited the plot.
I agree with you, he isn’t as open and as emotional as Levi, which is almost like his only trait. neither of them are at fault here, but I think they do need to sit down and have a conversation
Just so it's registered somewhere, I believe Nico will return to the series in late S17. I've been in the fandom business for YEARS now and even couples I though where done forever (like Gallavich and Klaine) got back together after a long absence of one of the parts. Mark my words! -DetectiveAnon
