Well, it’s not easy to figure out things about Japanese people when you don’t know any Japanese, but I think I figured out what Masack - MY FIRST STORY’s former drummer - will be doing in the future. It seems he has joined a band called Utopia League. This is the only track they have released so far.
Compared to MY FIRST STORY, Utopia League’s music is a lot more mellow. To be honest, when I listened to the beginning of the song, I was reminded of children’s songs I used to listen when I was a child. The only reason I believed that children weren’t their target audience of Utopia League was because of the title of the song: Beer.
You can follow Utopia League on Twitter, and on Tumblr but they don’t seem to post anything on Tumblr.
Sad news but let’s all wish him good luck for whatever he’s gonna pursue next. It’s gonna be weird to see a different drummer with MFS…
I’m in the process of scanning all of the sheet music and editing it for one instrument at a time but man is that a time consuming project! So I thought I’d take a break and scan something a bit more colorful than sheet music!
