So is the strength of a ghosts quirk relative to proximity to Izuku, time spent with Izuku, or both?

It’s a combination of both. I’d say the longer they spend with near Izuku, the longer it last once they lose that proximity.

Any thoughts on Aoyama creeping on Midoriya? I’m thinking that he wants to learn how to be brave, but doesn’t know how to approach him.

That’s a pretty dramatic and most likely ineffectual way to learn how to courage from somewhere, but hey, to each their own I guess.

I'm not sure how many times I've thought this, but the show casually showing off Steven getting more and more in tune with his powers is one of my favorite bits about the show.

yea! I love that too! He’s so much more comfortable with his Gem powers than he used to be, its so neat to see the difference now compared to the early episodes
