I don’t live in Toronto, but the Toronto Mayoral Candidates I like the most are:

Saron Gebresellassi and Jennifer Keesmaat.

I would not vote for John Tory (the current mayor of Toronto).

If both L and Light had death notes, how do you propose the story and plot progression would change?

Okay, I’ve kept this in my inbox a long while, but I’m still not coming up with much more than “a lot”?

If L had a Death Note, he’d be able to test all of its limitations for himself and make traps based on them… it just changes the entire basic premise of the story SO much, that I’m not sure where to start in unwrapping the effects. DN as is relies so much on L not knowing anything at all about the notebook….

This concept is interesting,but answering this question properly would basically mean rewriting all of DN and that’s not something I have the time or skill to do…

This may seem random, but was it ever explained how you actually calculate when and how someone dies from the numbers that float above their head? I don't know if this has been asked before but I have never been able to figure out the mathematics behind knowing what the numbers under their name from the shinigami eyes mean.

According to an interview that Ohba did there is supposedly a way to convert the numbers into a number we understand, but he “forgot” what that conversion was. Also I think Ohba only ever applied that conversion to Light’s lifespan so everyone else’s lifespans that we see in the manga are just random numbers, iirc. I may be misremembering this part of it, that said. (Would greatly appreciate if someone who actually owns HTR13 could confirm or deny this). 

As for the cause of death from when a person reaches the end of their lifespan – that isn’t set in stone and it seems to be purely driven by circumstance. For example, when A reaches the end of their lifespan, they commit suicide. When Soichiro reaches the end of his lifespan in DN, he appears to die from the injuries he sustained during the Mafia raid, but as it seems unlikely that he’d really die from that if he were never involved in the raid, he would have likely died from some other cause – ironically enough, probably a naturally occuring second heart attack. All that’s really certain is that unless a shinigami intervenes (as Gelus does with MIsa for example), the person will die from whatever cause makes most sense at that time.

Why is someone defending micro transactions in Overwatch like genuinely how stupid are you. The only time it was acceptable was for charity. Overwatch is an addiction based game that takes advantage of people who have addictive traits in their personality and they are the reason as to why triple A games added lootboxes to everything and then had to scramble when the government called it out for illegal gambling. Come on. Also I can reply privately if you want I'm just venting.

The truth, ow’s microtransactions are already shitty, saying “well other games do it worse” doesn’t change that fact

(and if anyone feels like arguing that fact they should go talk to Jim Sterling, he gets paid to prove them wrong lmao)

Ahhhh! Thank you so much! Well, if it makes you feel better, I've owned this game for at least a decade and I have just now finished it with the A ending. It's not easy to get.

They became available a week or so Go I think! So it’s very recent ^^ I got an email from square about it LMAO that was my fave game when I was younger

I just can't believe it! I always wanted this to happen and I'm just so happy my prayers have been answered!!!! I should probably finish my last playthrough of the original before I start this one, but it looks so good!!
