Update on my transition:

I am having masculoplasty surgery on June 1st and am excited out of my mind! However, I'm nervous about the healing process as I am a grad student and cannot take any time off without my graduation being seriously delayed.

Luckily, my classes are all online now so I will be able to stay at rest but am concerned about healing, especially once I need to start writing.

Can anyone who has been through it tell me about your healing process? Do you think I need to postpone my classwork? How long until you could comfortably type after the operation?

Edit: Masculoplasty is the medical term for "top surgery" and mine will be a double incision procedure.
