Ballad of the Ringbearers, Pt. 3
And here’s the little bridge-building Ringbearer that can inexplicably survive in the vacuum of space, Vana!
Basically, she was an overachieving go-getter that was up for any challenge. Except when she got her Oracle Ring, decided to fight the Unnamed Order, and got her butt kicked and plenty of people killed in the process. After that, she left Trolla altogether and accidentally became a diplomat.
She and those peeps in the third panel would form a team that battles evil throughout their dimension. She learned some skills from them throughout her journey that would help her fight Destroying Angels.
And now, for the next verse and Ringbearer:
And here’s Masde.
Thanks to having inside info from a defector and help from the Overlords and other powerful wizards, her attack on the Unnamed Order went a lot better than Vana’s. It’s just unfortunate that her verse in this ballad was written before the Unnamed Order reemerged with a vengeance.
She also fought a supervolcano. Gave up all of her magic to keep it from blowing up the planet, and for a Trollan, giving up all your magic means death.
