Just recently I was sent the new Mash Nail Art Polish to review! The polishes are designed for stamping and the colors they currently have available on their website are Black, White and Silver Glitter. I was immediately sold on the size and price. They are 15ml each for $5.99! You get much more product then you would from Konad’s stamping polish which are 11ml and 12ml. I wanted to compare the nail art polish to other polishes I have currently been using to stamp with. Up first is the Mash White Nail Art Polish.
(2nd Pic on Top) I used Tony Molo’s Sad Green TR05 as a base and stamped with plate Mash-44. (L-R) I used Konad White, Sinful Colors Nail Art in Bad Chick, Mash White Nail Art Polish, and Finger Paints Paper Mache. The highest level of opacity started with 1.Konad White 2.Sinful Colors Nail Art in Bad Chick 3.Finger Paints Paper Mache then 4. Mash White Nail Art Polish. Even though Mash was the lightest of the polishes it was still clearly visible and still stamped nicely. I have used other white polishes in the past that wouldn’t even show up at all so that’s a plus!
(3rd pic) Next up is Mash Black Nail Art Polish. I used L’oreal Check Me Out as a base and stamped with plate Mash-28. (L-R) I used Konad Black, Sinful Colors Nails Art in Time Off, Mash Black Nail Art Polish, and Finger Paints Black Expressionism. The highest level of opacity started with 1.Konad Black 2.Sinful Colors Nail Art in Bad Chick 3. Mash Black Nail Art Polish then 4. Finger Paints Paper Mache. Once again, Mash was clearly visible and stamped nicely. Another thing I should mention is that cleans off easily too! I had stopped using Konad Black because it was always difficult to remove from my skin especially my toes! During this stamping experiment I accidently got the Konad Black on my thumb and I suddenly remembered why I had abandoned it on my shelf for such a long time. I did not have this problem with Mash.
(4th Pic) Last but not least is Mash Silver Glitter Nail Art Polish. I do not have any other stamping polishes like this one so I was very excited to use it! I used Jordana Rich Green as a base and stamped the same butterfly image from Mash-28 on my middle finger. (I promise it’s there). As you can see, I did have a hard time getting it to show up on my nail. So I used over my other nails to add some sparkle!
Overall, even though these nail art polishes weren’t the most opaque, I still think they are definitely worth getting! They still get the job done and honestly, they do look pretty opaque when you don’t have them side to side against other stamping polishes. In my opinion they still work great! And for the price and amount of product you get, why not?! It’s a great deal! As for the Silver Glitter Nail Art Polish, even though I couldn’t get it to stamp well, it is still very pretty with silver glitter to add extra sparkle to your nails! I think it is still worth getting because who doesn't like extra bling to their nails?! Please visit Mash to check out all their products!
