Diane, it is Tuesday, February 11th, and tonight, three more episodes of Twin Peaks will be screened at geeksboro!
Various Artists - Mashed In Plastic [2008, 1086 Productions]
This mash-up album pulls from all across the wide spectrum of mediums in which David Lynch has worked, with music, dialogue samples, backing scores, and distortions of each all melted together into a strangely-congealed mass of pop and obscurity.
There's "Blue Rigby", for instance, a piece constructed by Wax Audio out of The Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby" and pieces of Blue Velvet, with parts of Dorothy's anguish mixed in alongside "all the lonely people". Then there's Cola Audio's "Tori's Deranged", which layers Tori Amos' vocals over the instrumental of David Bowie's song "I'm Deranged", from the Lost Highway soundtrack.
Others are less narrowly-focused, as in the opening track by Colatron, "The Voice Of Love Is Crying", which collages together sounds from Lost Highway, The Elephant Man and David Lynch reading a book aloud. Or Phil Retrospector's "Heaven's DriveIn", which reworks the Radiator Lady's song drastically, adding strings and Diamanda Galás-like shrieks to a choking atmosphere before segueing neatly into the next song.
The list of contributors includes ToToM (With Boots), The Reborn Identity (Britpop Rebooted), and a few others, with each providing their own take on how to slot the puzzling pieces together. An intriguing undertaking, with plenty of unfamiliar material here even for the most devoted of Lynch fans.

Lynchin' it up today!
The Reborn Identity- The Elephant Connection
from the mismashed mix up - Mashed in Plastic
a curious joint of music and David Lynch's work. Well worth the listen, some tracks are a little creepier than others, but hey, check it out!
Good mourning.
