PRODUCT: Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask

I, like many other girls who want to be oh-so-hip-and-cool, have fallen into the Glossier trap. I’m a huge, huge fan of their Boy Brow and Haloscope products, that I figured “Okay, I trust you to put makeup on my face, let’s see how the skincare side of this works for me.” 

Because my skin is pretty balanced, but sensitive, I always lean towards products that are moisturizing, rather than products that claim to “draw out impurities.” But chances are, I will likely go all in for the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack as well, because Glossier claims that they are best used together!

I was feeling particularly worn down this afternoon after having worked an opening shift at my part-time summer job, so after a warm shower, luxurious hair mask, and slipping into some comfy PJ’s, I lathered this mask all over my face.

REVIEW: Glossier says not to skimp when applying, so I made sure that my face was covered in a liberal layer of this smooth, creamy mask. I didn’t even use a brush to apply it, just slathered it on with my clean fingers, and it immediately began to tingle and gently sooth. After 20 minutes, I went to rinse it off with warm water, and most of the mask had just seeped into my skin. I’ve read a few reviews from beauty editors who opted to just keep the mask on in lieu of a night cream, and I might give that a try in a few weeks. 

After I took it off, I applied a vitamin C serum and some moisturizer, and my skin felt AMAZING. Very plump, cool, and dewy. The mask is packed full of amazing ingredients, yet is just perfect for my sensitive skin! Also, this is another cruelty free find!! If I wasn’t a Glossier convert before, I can officially claim to be one now. I will definitely repurchase this.
