Ann cuts herself short, caught somewhere between frustration and hesitation as her expression suddenly becomes clouded over. She's not looking away from Akira on purpose - and in fact, as soon as she realizes she's doing it, she stubbornly makes herself turn back to him again, meeting his eyes with her own burning gaze. It's just strangely difficult to get the words out... to say what she wants to say.

It's stupid, because after everything they've been through together, this should really be nothing. It's not nothing, but it's certainly not something impossible either. So, with that in mind-

"Do you really think it was... you know, real? I don't want to overthink what I saw, but..."

Olruggio is stunned for a moment. In all this time --- all those years; he had never received such high praise from someone who matters to him. As a child he was praised - almost worshipped - by many. Olruggio 'the torch'. But that was a meaningless title when he's failed to save everyone like he was supposed to.

But --- when Qifrey says this — that he's the sun, the stars and everything shining and good — ... it does something to him. " Of course I care about you." There's a warmth; an ache in Olruggio's voice. " I've cared about you since we were kids. You're not dark --- you're just ... troubled." If only he knew.

THE MAGIC WORDS summon the nurse straight to his side. Fingers flutter and wrists flap; an attempt to abate the static pooling in her extremities. Her vision swims around a the seated figure speckled with crimson. It magnetizes to the source actively gushing from his arm once a rogue spurt hits the air. In one fell swoop, she snags the sterile gauze and secures the site with her gloved hands. A more potent ritual would have to wait. For now, she knows the bleeding needs to stop before he loses too much. How much has he lost, anyway? Eyes dance over the haphazard spattering. The corners of her mouth lurch back toward her ears. Yikes. It appears as if he already lost a considerable amount.

"Hey, hey, hey—are you feeling okay?" Neela's head cants slightly, knit brows sit above a pair of enormous umber eyes. "Not dizzy or anything?" As she speaks, she shifts one hand to cradle the base of his skull. Just in case. As positive energy emanates, warmth radiates from her hands.

Definitely a Joker blog that I hold a lot of respect for - it’s always really fun getting a lot at Joker’s innermost thoughts and vulnerability and I think they portray that part of him wonderfully.  Really just a Joker blog that I really enjoy and one I really hope to interact with more! Great Joker blog.

I think they’re a great Akechi - it’s definitely been interesting exploring a sort of dynamic that’s friends with benefits but they’re not even really friends? Like it’s very tense and yet there’s this sort of romantic tension between them and it’s just fun seeing all of the different elements and conflicting thoughts and feelings there and I attribute that entirely to just how wonderfully they write Akechi - I really like how they’re able to write out his conflicting thoughts and emotions and make him feel very true to form.  They’re a pleasure to write with.

I’ve always appreciate their enthusiasm for the ship and for just Ren and it’s really fun getting to talk about things like Ryuji potentially meeting Ren’s parents - it’s just clear that there’s so much passion and so much thought has been put in on their side and I can’t say how much I appreciate them - it just feels so nice to have someone who is as passionate as you and someone who really loves your ship and wants to write it with you.  We’re gonna write lots of amazing stuff together.

Agott had been dead asleep, a long day of working on her penmanship and new spells. And she thought that they would have had a full night of sleep until the others decided to start the birthday festivities that they were always made to participate in.

But alas, someone always threw a wrench into those plans.

Not that Agott hated it, no, it was simply an annoyance at best. "Tetia..." She groans, rolling over to face the other. "What time is it? Is it even time yet?" She knew that it was, that was the one thing that Agott knew that Tetia would respect, was waiting until midnight on the dot to wake them up.

She finds herself rubbing her eyes and sitting up, groaning to herself. "Alright.. I'm up.."

yeah and it was apparently for a stuffed animal, so if i had to guess he probably owes her like 20 to 30 dollars? maybe 40, 50 if we're really pushing it?? i mean sure that's hardly chump change but it's not as though he owes her hundreds of dollars - and allegedly, unless i'm misremembering, it only happened once.
