Cesar couldn’t quite remember much of his own prom — granted, it was over ten years ago, and he’d spent most of it drinking vodka out of Red Bull containers and subsequently puking behind the bleachers (he’d been quite the wild child in high school) — but, either way, he’d been looking forward to this one for weeks. Pulling out his best (and only) suit and giving Gloria a little bow tie of her own that matched perfectly with her service dog vest, Cesar had spent the first couple minutes of his arrival at the bar before spotting his best friend in the distance. “Hola papi!” The male let out a whistle teasingly, fanning himself. “Who gave you the right to look that guapo, huh? This the work of the Mrs?”
