The challenge was done and Cage was relieved. He had trained hard, whether it be with his siblings, his teenaged sons, by himself, and it had paid off... but this was the good part. Rest and relaxation. "Heart go back to normal yet?" he asked, smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he dropped down onto one of the large boulders surrounding the pond, next to his younger brother, holding out a hand to offer him a bottle of water. "I have fruit snacks, too, stole them from the girls before we left. I don't think they'll notice, but they're a good little burst of sugar if you want some. You did pretty good out there today."

corey was pretty sure he’d only stepped foot in the library once or twice before he met mason.  after that it became a pretty common place to hang out, if only to be by his boyfriend’s side, but it had still never reached the top of his list of favorite places.  it was too quiet, too serious, and corey was too easily distracted.  still, he tried to hang in there as long as possible for mason.  “so . . . ”  he’d snuck over one of the rolly computer chairs, and he spun around as he peered at mason’s stack of books.  “did we figure out how to send lilian back to hell yet?”  we, as though he’d done anything other than look pretty.  //  @justahumxn​
