People that can’t take critiques and learn from their mistakes, but beyond all of that people who can’t look at THEMSELVES critically and do so in a NOT FAKE manner.
I mean that in like.. at least be the sort of writer who isn’t so stuck up your own ass that you can catch what someone is saying and lay down something equally as enthralling? something that MOVES the plot or shows you UNDERSTAND what the fuck is going on.
And it’s not like you are going to always have perfect cases of “man i get you!! i get what you wrote!!” so if you are struggling, JUST SAY SO.
There are certain folks out there who are too concerned with their image to accept critiques EVEN WHEN THEY ASK FOR THEM (lmao don’t reblog a “send me what you think of me on anon” and never reply to the bad shit u fake ass motherfuckers) and the only time they DO admit to being imperfect is to continue a manipulative narration of how “they really are so aware of themselves and others and are just so kind to mention it so others can see they are such a REAL person with REAL insecurities.”
