it was never confirmed in canon but generally “hal” is short for “harold” or “harry” and we know that the masons are big on short names for longer ones

I always wonder how they got the Meyer-Briggs type. Like, did someone just go take the quiz and wonder what Hal would answer? Is there some official information or are we just guessing?
Basically, what I did was look at the descriptions of the different personality types and go from there. I personally feel like Hal is more extroverted than introverted, so it had to start with E. Then I just found a description I felt fit, which in Hal’s case was “Extraordinarily caring, social and popular people, always eager to help.” (ESFJ) (I actually just noticed the gif says ENFJ...)
