The Unexpected in Hannibal

The viewers witness how unusual Mason Verger is when he states that Margot and him could be a family with a child together. He insists he would make a good father and has healthy sperm. He attempts to convince Margot of his idea by ultimately stating that he kept her eggs in a surrogate for them to use. Yet, he did not mention that the surrogate was a pig.

The viewers are able to see Margot alter as a character until she is finally able to complete what she set out to do in the beginning, which is to kill her brother. In the end, everything seems to work out perfectly for Margot as she murders her brother and takes his sperm so that she is able to have a Verger baby and a future heir for the company. Alana Bloom is the one that carries the heir which solidifies their relationship together as Alana views this baby as her child as well. The relationship dynamics vary throughout the show as both Alana and Margot were sexually active with men in the beginning and are now happy together. This was an interesting twist in the series as there is nothing that hints at them being attracted to each other earlier in the show.
