“You know, I’m glad we opted out of this one in high school.” It’s hard not to think about as he wanders up behind her as Nabi sits there on stage as the ghost of Hamlet’s father. After someone had seen The Lion King, there wasn’t really any need to get really into Hamlet, that was his professional opinion on the whole thing and it ruined both the Disney movie and the play for him. Shakespeare was never that fun for him anyways but Cloe had fought him on doing that stupid report they had to do freshman year on A Midsummer Night’s Dream instead of Dracula, so he hoped she was at least having fun. Hell, the whole thing, it being a fey party, he hoped she was having fun. They’d missed out last time, she’d been visiting home and he’d taken the chance to head back to Berlin for a bender weekend in her absence. But he knew how she talked about the place, the Otherworld, how all the faiman seemed to regard it. There’s this warmth that settles in his chest at the thought that it’s not just a story for her anymore. "I think you'd have made a much better Hamlet, for what it's worth."
