So, I finally went to the Great America Theme Park and of course the first ride we got on was the Mass Effect 4D Holographic Journey! I took pictures of what was on the outside because once inside, our phones had to be put away, All in all, the ride was pretty cool. It’s very similar to the Star Wars ride at Disneyland in that we sit in a moving chair and put on 3D (in this case, 4D) glasses and watch the screen.
We killed a Reaper so I was NOT disappointed, ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
What was a real bummer for me though, was what I overheard. Most of the people who were waiting in line (there wasn’t a whole lot to begin with) didn’t really know what Mass Effect was or had even played the game. They were just there because, as I heard one person say “It’s a new ride.”
