Lush Guildford
I would love a S/O primarily to be able to buy all the Lush items that are specifically meant for couples.
Hey tip for life if you really want to use Ro's Argan Body Conditioner but don't wanna spend a ton of money then buy Pearl massage bar instead. No I know they're not supposed to be used in the shower but it works just as well as Ro's and it's a third of the price... Just put the bar beside the shower when you get in to let the steam soften it and after washing step out of the stream and rub the bar on your wet skin and then rinse it away a little. Towel off and BAM, silky smooth moisturised skin that's subtly perfumed of Ro's and you don't get the greasiness of the massage bar when you apply it to dry skin... Another pro tip - if you don't want to smell like rose use any other massage bar as your in shower moisturiser. And then just put it away to let the water dry off it. Works a charm :)
Rants about lushies
Literally nothing irritates me more than lushies who hoard lush products. Now i dont mean the "has 3 shower gels, 3 shampoos, 10 bathbombs" people. Thats reasonable and okay, I myself go through bathbombs like crazy. But there are people who have ALL the shower gels and ALL the cleansers and ALL the massage bars etc. Its wasteful because are you really going to use these? They're buying simply to have it. it's just so unnecessarily wasteful. ALSO the things that come with no packaging (massage bars, bathbombs, shampoo bars etc) come without packaging for a REASON. The lush motto of being environmentally conscious is the reason we have minimal packaging. So it irritates me when I see all these "how i store my lush products" videos and people are INDIVIDUALLY wrapping them in plastic baggies to "separate the scents". Its doing more harm than good, your little sex bomb and your experimenter are not going to have little bath bomb babies and then never work again. Its going to work and smell the same way. But hey, if you think its gonna work I guess its worth killing our environment.
