Cheif, my fiance’s beautiful Catahoula/ Mastiff mix, is currently at the vet. His small intestine is blocked by inflammation and he has not been able to eat for several days now. He is receiving treatment but we are having to take everything a day at a time as he has not made any major improvements. My fiance and I have enough to cover his initial diagnostic tests and exploratory surgery but the longer he stays at the vet the bigger the bill grows. He is a wonderful dog and since both of us have lost personal pets within the last month our hearts can’t bear to lose Chief as well.
