It didn’t help that the slave they had found for his was gorgeous. Blaine had only seen him once, half-conscious and shackled, but it had been enough. Enough for Blaine to put aside his principles for once. To actually allow his parents to purchase a human being for him. It had been a decision Blaine had made consciously, but also one that had been filled with lust and greed, the two things that Blaine strove ton constantly avoid. He was entirely conflicted, overcome with guilt but also with excitement and anticipation because he knew that the boy that he now owned was waiting for him right behind his door. Blaine sighed, again focusing on the texture of the banister. He wet his lips quickly as he reached the top of the stairs. His floor. Blaine made his way to the door, stopping in front of it, again immobilized by a wave of guilt, not only at the fact that he was enslaving the poor boy, but also because in the back of his mind, he was happy about it. Happy that he got to have someone all to him self. But Blaine couldn’t let himself give in to that emotion. Not when it went against everything he’d told himself and his parents he was against. If he did that, he would loose. He would loose himself to the world and the morals his parents were forcing upon him. But still, Blaine didn’t turn from the door. His fingers grazed the cold brass of the knob, and Blaine closed his eyes for a moment, hating himself for what he was about to do. He twisted the doorknob slowly, and pushed open the door, slipping into his room, still not sure what to expect on the other side.
