I am so obsessed with them at the moment (for the n-th time in my life, but probably never on this level...).

Got me the Bluray of the whole show they did in Montreal in '81... Blew me away... Life performances don't get much better than this. To bring such a complex song as this one live on stage this way?!? Just crazy... Freddie Mercury is just beyond crazy. That energy is really hard to comprehend...but also the whole band as a group/team. This level of performance perfectly in sync with each other and at the same time all those incredible improvisations on the vocals...bloody hell...

Brian Jones could play most any instrument and added so many unique and memorable sounds to early Stones’ classics like Under My Thumb, Paint it Black, Ruby Tuesday and so many others.

Fun fact- Larnell Lewis, the drummer seen here, played these songs for the first time ever while recording the "We Like it Here" live sessions. He was called up to replace another drummer at basically the last moment. He listened to the songs for the first time during a seven hour, overnight flight from NYC to Copenhagen, Denmark. And then, with no rehearsal and never having even played with the band before, he played like this.
