Why do you care about x? He physically assaulted and abused women. The world is honestly better off without him
His music resonated with me and I appreciated his efforts to encompass the full spectrum of human emotion through his work. The darkness he expressed is the kind we as a society still tend to deny or repress as a natural part of our experience on earth. He was also extremely open and self-reflective. His willingness to change and spread a message of hope and positivity came from a very honest and genuine place. I think that’s why so many people fucked with him.
It’s incredibly naive to believe every allegation that surfaces. It’s not like the media hasn’t tried to demonize innocent ppl like MJ and Pac despite a lack of evidence in the past. I’m not implying anything but at the end of the day, we don’t know shit. Why assume? You’re free to have your opinions but I believe his impact on the world was one that was both profound and needed.
