@master-mistoffelees Grizabella looked around her with a sense of nervousness. She had caught the scent of a fairly young kitten. It wasn't a good idea for anyone to be about at this time is night and least of all in this area. She moved forward slowly. A nasty fox bite had caused her to limp most of the time now. She hadn't even smelled it coming which was unusual as the creatures had a very distinct smell. She pushed that out of her mind and then began to follow her senses. Her tattered ear twitched and her tail lashed her dusty coat. Someone was here. "Hello? Are you alright?" She asked cautiously. Though she was an older cat her voice still held clarity and her eyes were as sharp as ever. She walked down the narrow ally and then sniffed the air. The magical side of her tingled with recognition. She had not sensed anything like that since she had run foul of her son a few years ago. She still bore scars from his savagery. "It's alright. No one will hurt you." She told the young one. She had to convince him they it would be okay. That there would be no need to worry about this at all. Her ears twitched and she settled in a place out of the wind. The chill November air was enough to kill someone. She didn't know why someone so young was in such a tough and rough part of town. Her eyes narrowed. She wasn't sure what this young kit would do. All she could do was wait and hope he or she would come out of their hiding spot. At least long enough to check them over and maybe scavenge some food. Her son did occasionally send out a goon or two with food to the emaciated queen and it did save her life. She would do what she could for this kitten.
