Appreciation Post for Camp Ares Batch 1

My camp pinuno heart won’t be complete if I missed out on thanking each and everyone from Camp Ares and here it goes:

Thank you for being the next on top of everything. Every time that I needed help in “rara”, posting and managing the camp, you’re all the way there to support. Thank you also for the help in other areas of content, being my tech person for my live videos. Haha. It seems that you’re enjoying naman, hahaha. Ako bahala sa’yo pag luwas mong Manila. Salamat sa mga prangkang inputs for the camp.

Reuel Pindoy of Your Life Engineer        

I know it was overwhelming for you at first because you were informed late, but don’t worry we were also informed just a week before. But thank you for still actively participating to our ganaps and even helped and stepped up on one of the breakouts (photo series) wherein you and Nikki was able to pull it off even though it was very spontaneous. So glad for all your inputs and even helped us with some issues. Pa-takoyaki ka naman jan.

Lui Baarde of The Financial Passionate

I know you were really busy the whole time, but you still managed to help us in any way you can and even do our last minute kalokohans for the camp. It was understandable that you forgot things that we’ve discussed but thank  you for doing your best to still keep up with everything. Wag ka na ulit mag back read ng group chat please. Haha.

Appreciation Post for the Organizers of PC Mastercamp

I KNOW THIS IS LATE, BUT I STILL WANTED TO DO IT ANYWAY...

I would like to thank Lui and Ate Diah for seeing the things I don’t really see in me; they saw the potential in me in leading a group. Growing up I was just really a good follower but sometimes if I have no choice I also step up to lead but it’s really not innate in me. But having the responsibility given by Lui and Ate Diah, I embraced it so well that leading the Camp Ares was something that I enjoyed doing.

At first, my plan was really to just have a chill team and “no pilitan” way of thinking and it actually just happened. Leading Camp Ares together with my co pinunos Ej and Reuel was really kinda smooth because we were just enjoying what we were doing. I appreciate all your help especially when we need to “rara” something on our group chat. We even had early retro meetings because I just insisted them to wake up early. Haha. Nonetheless, we really never expected that we would jive together as what Reuel said, because we were from different backgrounds. But as we became closer, we had our fair share of bully minds as our combination, maybe that’s why we really jived. Haha. Even after our pinunos stint, we still have random kwentuhan on our group chat and even just had a quick video call.

I would also love to appreciate my co-camp pinunos from the other camps, Z for Apollo, Carla for Aphrodite, Nikki for Athena and Caroline for Artemis, GHOOORL power right there and then. I appreciate that they also share their best practices to the group so that it might work on our ends too. We also have random kwentuhan over video call and just share our stories.

I would like to appreciate also the hard work of our speakers, Lui, Ian, Lad and also to Ate Diah. They shared their hearts out on their certain topics and made everyone in awe of the learnings and experiences shared by them.  

Also, for all the push made by Franz, for me personally he had his ways and I truly appreciate everything that he has done towards me.

To our level up team, Kat and Miriam, thank you for your patience and I appreciate your talents that you have shared to the team.

My favorite part would have to be the hosting skills of RX because she would always set the mood and create the energy for everyone. She put her heart to the energy competition and even to her pang malakasan spiels.

To my co-officers also who became part of this project, Nikko, Jay Ar, Jay, Ate Sheng and Tim thank you for a job well done. We all did it. It was all a team effort for everyone and for all the campers.

Passionate Creators Mastercamp (Camp Pinuno POV) DAY 3

On our third day of the mastercamp, we had another retro with the Ares pinunos and just had to do things.

Before our mastercamp, we had a quick meeting with some of our campers including Milo and Claydie.

Prior to the mastercamp, I had a very quick stint in our unit because we were the hosts for the fun night that’s why I had to attend to it and delegated most of my task to our co-pinunos Reuel and Ej. While on the fun night, I was also half focused on the mastercamp and heard that we will be having the energy competition already that’s why I had my off cam from the fun night and danced with how much I can to join the Camp Ares energy competition. Fortunately, we won from the 3rd day energy competition.After our fun night, I went back to the mastercamp and everything was smooth thanks to my co-pinunos.

First topic for the last day was Writing Fundamentals by Ian Dilla, it was a very good topic for all the campers since it helped them ideate their Awareness, Consideration and Decision of their audience that they can use as outline for their pages.

Next up was the content breakout rooms for Video with Lad Gutierrez,

and Photo and Graphics series with Dianna Diaz wherein my co-pinuno Reuel and Nikki took over when Ate Diah got disconnected. Everyone enjoyed their new learnings and hopefully they can apply it soon.

Last topic was the Content Strategy discussed by Lui Baarde. She shared how we can be more productive by creating all the contents at the same time and scheduling our posts. 

She also helped us doing our content calendars that will help us in the long run for our pages.

After her talk, we had the camp breakout wherein we shared our own content calendars and how we can be consistent and follow it through our postings.

After the sharing, last competition for the night was the content strategy sharing and we chose JC Pena of Hustle Daddy to show and explain his content strategies to the other campers.

For our closing, we had special awards for the campers who stepped up and embodied the core values of Passionate Creators. 

Our awards were Camaraderie for the most engaged, Generosity for the leadership and initiative, Courage for the one who showed courage and went out of comfort zone, and Kaizen for the one who showed enormous growth and improvement.

We also showcased the highlights of the 3 day mastercamp, edited by Jay Ar Almanzor and Lui Baarde as our last ganap for the day. We extended to 11 pm but seeing everyone enjoying all the shenanigans was so overwhelming for me because I became part of the organizing committee for this gathering and a one of kind mastercamp for content creators.

Day 3 of the mastercamp was very helpful for everyone especially when it comes to what kind of content that we can create and also the strategies that we can do for our pages.

My share of learnings from this Mastercamp, everything will be possible as long as we have the team work that we all showed and how we supported each other through the highs and lows of every activity that we’ve done for the mastercamp. Everyone involved were so game to make it happen and just from the vision of our founder Lui, it all came to life because of all the hardwork of everyone.

Passionate Creators Mastercamp (Camp Pinuno POV) DAY 2

On our second day, being the pinuno for Camp Ares and because we finished late from last night, I asked for a very early retro meeting at 8 am. Then just had a quick nap and some time for my page, I just did a live stream video with Caris Sanchez.

Before the mastercamp, we opened a zoom for our campers who need help for their worksheets and assignments, Darrick was able to join us.

Then 30 minutes before our mastercamp, we were at the zoom meeting already for the last minute briefing and reminders. We then opened the meeting room for the mastercampers and they all came inside the meeting room.

First up was same introduction and an energy competition facilitated by RX. We just danced our hearts out and enjoyed the dance moves made by RX.

First activity for the day was about our vision board, Lui led the orientation on how we will discuss with our buddies on the breakout. We were then moved to the buddy breakout; I was partnered with Brien again and we just shared our vision boards for our brands.

Back to the main room and another discussion by Lad with the topic on Brand Consistency - Stylescape Workshop.

We were then moved to camp breakout for the stylescape workshop and sharing our outputs.

Back to the main room, the sharer from our camp was Rica Rosales and she shared on how she created the stylescape for her brand, Rise Filipina.

Then we ended the mastecamp with a bang and had a mastercamp famfie.

We just had a retro after. 

Day 2 was kinda chill because I just absorbed all the learnings and also the ideas shared by my campers. They had so much to share that’s why I was just a very keen listener.
