Neru, I've been wanting to start Monogatari but I have no idea what order to watch it in. A lot of people say there's a specific order to it for the plot to makes sense while others say just to go with how the seasons were released. What order do you recommend watching it?

uhmmm that’s true, because the light novels have an order and the anime have another order, but I watch all the monogataris in the anime order to avoid this kind of problems~

the anime order is: Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari Kuro, Monogatari Series Second Season, Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari, Owarimonogatari (currently season) and Koyomimonogatari (coming soon in january) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOLLOW THIS ORDER

the light novel order is: Bake, Kizu, Nise, Neko (Kuro), Neko (Shiro), Kabuki, Hana, Otori, Oni, Koi, Tsuki, Koyomi, Owari, Zokuowari and two light novels more I think… (too lazy to write the “monogatari”)

AND the chronological order is: Kizu, Neko (Kuro), Bake, Nise, Kabuki, Oni, Owari, Neko (Shiro), Owari (again), Otori, Koi, Tsuki, Oroka(?), Owari (yes again), Zokuowari and Hana (probably incorrect)

ignores the last two orders and watch the anime dammit! this anime have a nice ost, all the stories are great and the animation is A++!
