Monogamy isn't exactly Mirela's thing, as I've noted before on many occasions. It is for a number of reasons, chief among them being that she is reluctant to ever devote herself totally to one person. She fears loss and rejection more than anything, more than death.
Mirela has trouble understanding what the point of monogamy is. She's not a jealous creature at all, and the concept of staying with one person forever for no discernible reason doesn't really make sense to her.
It's much more convenient for her to sleep around, as that is one of her main means of obtaining information.
Also, she was once betrothed, and that experience ended with her committing her first murder and running away from home. Consequently, she doesn't have very good memories of marriage, and subconsciously relates it with death and pain.
