Oc pixel sprite work! by MasterImpsy

I'm trying to make a "digital board game" with my girlfriend and we didn't have "play pieces" so I'm making them! I have no idea what I am doing but hey this was really fun to do, so we'll figure it out as we go. This is more of a personal project so it's not an ACTUAL game we are  making just something we are putting together in a super amateur way!  Heheh...

Regardless,  I'm having a lot of fun trying to put this together and these sprites  are so cute! If I actually knew how to put together like a super simple  game I would actually try to turn this into a strategy RPG but I have no  knowledge in that department and I doubt my computer could handle game  development anyway!

Anyway,  I rambled enough. I'll try to get back to OCF this week. I got super  busy and when I had free time, I really wanted to work on this project  instead...

[Joy City] Madeline The Witch of Animals

Another Witch woot! She's a sort of friend of Linda's.

She's specializes in Animals. Meaning she can talk/understand animals as well as control them or call them to her aid. She's also very good at growing vegetables and flowers.

She's a rather nervous girl with a rather sad childhood. Although she's more of a meek character, she doesn't like her buttons pushed and can be rather scary if crossed.

[Joy City] Linda the Witch of Love

I really like making little headshot/icon things like this. ^^;

This is another witch character I made a while back. Her name is Linda and she specializes in Love. She mostly sees how compatible people are and how long a couple's relationship will last. She can NOT make people fall in love... Maybe she just wishes to never abuse that part of her magic. Regardless, she doesn't really make love potions or anything like that.

Don't ask her for a love fortune, she'll charge you a lot for the most vague of answers.

Her age is unknown.

Oh and I did this without using the lineart tool in Sai which is something I use religiously for my lineart. I made more sprites and this time I actually finished a set of characters! These are all the Witches(currently) that belong to the Convent of The Black Forest! They all worship a mysterious god, Alkanth, who gave them the ability to use magic and other strange powers. Although Alkanth's motives are shrouded in mystery, they seemed to come to those who desire power to better themselves. One of my more recent OCs, Leo Reign! He's a prince of a kingdom but actually does much more work then his father. He's a Devil with a nasty vice of Pride. This makes him pretty vain and unable to really feel empathy. He tries his best to understand those around him and well as his subjects. However, he will never stop trying to the most attractive man alive.

A new character I came up with today. He's another Witch who comes from the same Convent that Cherry and Shirley do. He's powers relate to cute stuff or or cuteness. Sounds kind of lame but you'll be surprised what he can actually do with this. He's actually know as one of the more powerful Witches of the Convent. Luckily he's a very nice and caring individual and just wants everyone to be happy... And cute.

Tibbits for the characters below!

Tadd(19) - A+ hunter/tracker with a rather anti-social attitude. He's hardworking and deadly loyal to those he's gotten close to. You can pay him in food so he's the cheapest guy you can hire too! Jack(25) - A master swordsman with lightning fast reflexes. He wields a laser sword which he dubs Night Cutter. He's very serious about his work and always stays focused on the mission. He's very protective of Manic, who saved his life once. Shirley(24) - A powerful witch with a specialty in potion brewing and biology. He's VERY anti-social and very introverted. He calls outgoing, happy people "bright people". He's basically emo. He's very picky with his jobs. Zeek(22) - A werewolf with great survival skills and endurance! He's hardworking and very friendly. If you say his name, his tail wags. Drac(24) - A thrill junkie who will take on the most dangerous missions with a smile! He's active and very outgoing. He's also very shameless and kind of stupid. Manic(34) - A timid monster with a heart of gold. Although he seems wimpy, he's not, he can easily tear off someone's arms. He currently lives in a broken down RV. Pan(???) - A strange man cross dressing as a maid. He seems very non-threatening but he can masterfully wield any bladed weapon and summon them at will. He is basically Von's maid. Mack(22) - An Ape-man with a very competitive personality. He's aiming for platinum status!! He's a very joyful guy but also likes to pick fights with Jake. Jake(20) - A rather air-headed beast with a rather selfish personality. Despite that, he tries to do good for his friends. Tadd and him are buddies of sorts. Gato(95) - A rehabilitated Vampire who would call himself "cool". That's debatable. He also owns a bar so his Guild duties tend to take a backseat. Von(???) - The Guild Master and a demon with mysterious powers. He's levelheaded and caring but has a pretty nasty dark side. "Black Bird"(???) - A co-dependent bird creature. He's indestructible but not really all that strong, just stubborn. He's passionately obedient to Von. Ruth(???) - A very quiet demon. He's only seems to be passionate for shop keeping and making money. He's not very helpful either... Valery(23) - A energetic bat girl with a stone hard hide. She tends to be labeled as obnoxious but no one really admits to disliking her presence. Charis is her best friend. Charis(20) - A sweet girl with holy powers. She's a very comforting soul and usually makes anyone feel better with her pep talks. However, she has an active imagination and tends to make situations sound worst as well... Yusake(19) - A soft spoke psychic with a rather "normal" personality compared to the others. He has pyrokinetic abilities and telepathy as well. He has sensitive ears and wears headphones to block out distractions. Phi-Phi(32) - A witch in the same convent as Shirley. She's very doll like and has an obsessions with doll like things. She cares very little for others but will always help for the greater good... Or money... To feed her doll addiction... Sunny(100) - A rambunctious "young" fox demon. He's a pretty high energy guy with a pure heart. He use fire and light magic. He's not very strong for being "young" but he's always training with his father to get stronger.
